Christina

Christina is our studio owner/lead instructor and you will find her teaching the Wednesday classes.

Christina started her pole journey around 2015 and has been obsessed with it ever since, becoming an instructor in 2017! She has a real passion for teaching and will literally jump for joy when students gain progress and achieve their pole goals (so try not to get a fright in her classes)  Here's what she has to say -

"I fell in love with pole fitness from the minute I started it. I don't even know what drew me to it as I'm not naturally a sporty person. I don't have a gymnast or dancer background and I certainly didn't consider myself as strong or flexible. However, starting pole, I became obsessed with the idea of being all of these things but my passion for pole really grew when I discovered a love for the dance and choreography side of it all!

Apart from teaching, my absolute favourite thing has to be the amazing community of people. You are genuinely surrounded by the friendliest, most welcoming and non judgemental bunch you'll ever find! Classes are truly a place you'll meet friends for life

MEESH

Meesh is our Tuesday instructor and when she's not singing along to her own Choreo's, she's banging out gorgeous pole shapes! Defo our own little shape queen! Here is a bit about Meesh's pole journey so far -

"I started doing pole 7 years ago when I moved to a new city and wanted to meet people while doing something fun!

Turns out I picked the perfect hobby! I made lots of amazing friends, got stronger and eventually loved it so much I decided to become an instructor. My favourite things to teach are cute shapes and fun upbeat choreos!

When it comes to class, the most important thing to me is that everyone has a good time and supports each other. Progress isn't linear, so it's important to focus on the little wins as well as the big ones! Sometimes even just making it to class after a rubbish day is a win that deserves to be celebrated. I like to promote a positive, inclusive environment while making sure everyone gets a good workout in!!"

INGRID

Ingrid is our Thursday instructor and not only is she an absolute fountain of knowledge when it comes to all things health and fitness related but she knows how to work those angles! If you need a good pole pic, she's defo your gal!

Here's what Ingrid has to say -

"I first started pole in November 2018 after a taster session and I was instantly hooked – as someone who was working in commercial gyms at the time Pole was so much more than just a fitness class to me. It was different, challenging and way out of my comfort zone! One single piece of equipment with endless possibilities!

Joining the instructor team in 2021 was a huge challenge but one I still love to this day. I absolutely love the community, spirit & family we have at Pole Fitness Falkirk. My passion in teaching lies in dispelling myths within health and fitness & breaking down barriers and perceptions that we often face in pursuing a new hobby or goal.

My favourite pole move is without a doubt the Ayeesha and I absolutely love nailing those perfectly angled poses."

GILLIAN

Gillian is our Sunday instructor and she may be small but oh my is she powerful  if she's not at home working out to the latest cardio craze, you'll find her in the studio creating gorgeous spiny flow

Here's a bit about Gillian -

"I got into pole about twelve years ago and, despite doing other dance and fitness based stuff, it has remained a true constant for me.

It's like being on a never ending mystery tour, occasionally visiting places you know and discovering lots more on the way. I think that's what I love about pole, you never stop learning, you'll never run out of moves.

As much as I like learning new moves and what have you, I love passing on what I learn just as much. It makes me happy to see people believe in themselves and achieve their own goals/challenges and if there's photographic proof, even better.

A few years ago I would never have foreseen myself actually instructing, but now I wouldn't have it any other way. I've made good friends through pole classes and I can say, hand on heart, you'll never experience the camaraderie of a pole class anywhere else x"
