Christina

Meet Christina.

Christina is our founder, owner, and lead instructor at Pole Fitness Falkirk. Christina started her Pole journey around 2015 and she’s been obsessed with it ever since. She became a certified instructor in 2017 which followed on to opening her own studio in 2018.

Since then, she’s become incredibly passionate about all things health & fitness related and she’s always in the mist of some learning course, she just can’t get enough! Currently studying to become a Personal Trainer, Christina can’t wait to be able to offer health & fitness development in the wider industry (although pole fitness will always be her main passion, obviously!)

Here’s what Christina has to say:

“Hey everyone, wow, what a crazy time it’s been running this studio! From setting up stage poles in the back of a pub and having my mum and her pals come to class to support me (shout out to Mamma Doc!) to actually having my very own studio space and such an amazing Pole Family to fill it, it really has been such a whirlwind.

When I opened Pole Fitness Falkirk (formally 212 Dance & Fitness) I genuinely had no idea what I was letting myself in for, but I just knew that I wanted to bring that infectious pole community spirit to my hometown. There definitely has been a few bumps in the road and many a mistake made (whoops!) but it’s all been a great learning curve and I am so unbelievably grateful and thankful to everyone who has stuck by and supported me throughout. I’m so proud to say that we have such a fantastic bunch and I really have made friends for life through this studio.

I first fell in love with pole fitness from the minute I started. I don’t even know what drew me to it, I’m not naturally a sporty person, I wasn’t a gymnast or a dancer and I certainly wasn’t strong or flexible but as soon as I started classes I became obsessed with chasing the idea of being all these things. To say I’m still chasing it would be accurate statement (hehe) but pole fitness is so much more than that. I’ve fallen in love with the dance and choreography side of it all and nothing makes me happier than seeing students achieve what they’ve so desperately been working on.

I love teaching and I love choreographing but what I really love most of all is seeing everyone happy, enjoying themselves and having a laugh (cheesy I know but it’s so true).

Pole Fitness is a genuine form of therapy, it’s time where you can forget your troubles and just focus on the moment and I truly want everyone who comes through my studio doors to have that. If you enjoy the little things in life, one day you’ll look back and realise those were really the big things xx”
